ACS Environmental Ltd is a UKAS-accredited laboratory (certificate number 4150) and holds MCERTS certification for a selection of analytical methods. We have also maintained accreditation to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 & 2017 for over a decade, ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance in every test we carry out.

ACS provides comprehensive testing to determine the physical and mechanical properties of construction materials, including aggregates, soils, concrete, bituminous materials, mortar and screed, and natural stone – helping clients assess quality, strength, and suitability for use.

While most testing is carried out in our laboratories, we also conduct certain specialist on-site tests. With state-of-the-art facilities, experienced technicians, and a commitment to accuracy, we deliver reliable data to support safe, compliant, and durable construction.

Our experienced site technicians deliver a comprehensive range of UKAS-accredited on-site services. Working with materials such as aggregates, bituminous materials, concrete, soils, and water, we carry out both sampling and in-situ testing – from routine quality checks to specialist assessments like plate load testing – to confirm strength, stability, and compliance.

For larger or time-sensitive projects, we can also provide fully equipped site laboratories, giving you faster turnaround times and immediate insight to keep work moving, day or night.
