XtraTec have been working since 2017 in partnership with Henley Camland, Erith contractors, and ARUP consultancy offering laboratory and in-situ materials testing services to assist with the control and placement of around 6 million cubic units of various types of on-site materials.

Project Overview
Since 2017 XtraTec have been working in partnership with Sheerness Recycling and Highways England, providing laboratory and in-situ materials testing to assist with the control of incoming inert materials for classification and the placement of around 1.5 million cubic units of materials based on current specifications.
Project: Ouse Washes Section 10 Works

Project Overview
Since 2017, XtraTec has been working in partnership with Mick George Ltd, Jackson Civil Engineering, and The Environment Agency, undertaking the site control of all materials used in the construction of the 20 kilometres of the flood embankment upgrades. The project has been running for five years and will complete this month with 370,000 cubic meters of clay material used to complete the project.
Project: Isle Of Grain CAP 25 Gas Terminal Storage Tank

Project Overview
Since 2017 XtraTec have been working in partnership with VINCI Construction, Taylor Woodrow and the National Grid, having supplied field technicians and equipment including a mobile concrete curing container, to undertake the project testing requirements, which involved seven staff members during a fifteen-day continuous concrete pour which completed 8900 m3. The roof section of the contract will be poured early next year.

Project Overview
Started in 2022 XtraTec have been working in partnership with Colas Ltd and Kent County Council, undertaking a full range of material testing requirements based on contract specifications. The route, when completed, will join the new Whitfield urban developments with Dover town centre and Dover Priory railway station. The contract will take around two years to complete.
Project: Van Oord - Beach Campaign

Project Overview
XtraTec worked in partnership with Van Oord and the Environment Agency in 2022 to undertake 24/7 beach recharge samples based on specifications provided from around 30,000 cu3 of dredged ballast material over a three-week period.

Project Overview
Working in partnership with Sisk Contractors, Tony Gee, and Homes England, XtraTec is due to begin a yearlong project in 2022 to undertake site sampling and control testing on fill materials based on specifications to be provided.
